Teaser trailer for a short rippercrew made

I produced and color corrected this short film for a crew guy who was on the set for the Ripper every shoot day. I owed him, so I set this short film up and let him do it all his way.

He's entered it to the Chiller TV contest so I cut made this Teaser. Lemme know what ya think (yeah there's some familiar faces in it).

It's in HD, looks and sounds good I think.

We can't release the actual short until next month
sometime.

Rolling singing and dialog editing

I'm in the process of manually cutting, fixing and de-noising all the dialog. And it take a long time. Also we added one more day of pick-ups to get some prison shots and interviews with people who lived in Gainesville at the time. Also got local artist Hank El Diablo (myspace ) Check out the song FLESH IT OUT ABOUT. He wrote it for a bar scene in the movie. Great stuff. He's also rewriting some Danny Rolling songs on acoustic guitar for Zack to sing as part of the soundtrack.

It'll be creepy trust me.

Some new pics..sorry about the delay

Nothing really cool to post lately. Been listening to lot's of composers trying to figure out who really want to go that extra mile to make something better than just just good. Sometimes I feel like a wasting my time spending so much time with people who have never done a movie score. I'm trying to find that talented guy who never got his chance to write a soundtrack to show people that he can do it.

Basically I send these guys clips and just figure them out. Some are quick to give me music. Some can't play quicktime movies. Some give me a minute and are either too scared or too lazy to write the whole scene. Then there was this ballsy guy who promised music in a two days...and delivered...it was OK. Then got realized he got himself in over his head and had the balls to tell me he didn't want to ruin my movie and he didn't think he could pull the workload. Too bad more people aren't honest with themselves and other like he was.

I quickly tried to convince him to help me with sound FX and he might bite.

Anyway sorry I'm so slow. Sorry Mitch and Simon for missing Fantasia this year. It's coming along and getting better by the day as I start to work with more talented sound folk.

edited pic taken down...too spoilerish

Cut myself makin' this poster....

Click on it (or any pic here) for larger version.

Sorry no posts lately been doing the kind of stuff I can't show you. Oh yeah and there's a (5 minute) hidden scene somewhere on Vimeo. Good Luck finding it.

Thanks to all the composers who keep sending in some great stuff. Looks like we're gonna pick someone soon. Getting close....
